Sad Poems for July

THE SUN THAT MAY NEVER RISE

Between the sheets I lie
in my warm , warm bed.
Thinking about you my heart cries,
about what has been said.

>From the time I saw you ,
till this cold , cold night.
I have never seen anyone as cute,
with a face as so bright.

Doth the sun cease to shine?
Doth the moon create no light?
"Maybe, baby" to myself I sigh,
I must not never fight.

All this while I think of you,
I feel such bitter , bitter pain.
Although the sun will enevitable shine tommorow.
I may never see a sunrise... again.

"DAD"
You slipped away, right before us all
We'll be together someday, to share the
things we saw
But for now, without you here
Our hearts are heavy with pain, and
filled with fear.
We will make it, this you know is true.
Just keep an eye on us...from your great
view,
The view from Heaven you lived to earn.

I really like this poem, I lost my father about 1 1/2 years ago...

Why do people have to lose things to find out what they mean???

I took you for granted
my foolish ways
I let you leave
I watched you walk away
Now I sit here
as these tears roll down
You're nolonger here
This smile now turns a frown
My heart I gave you
My soul to hold
the things we went through
they are now old
these strong feelings I had
are so washed away
You broke my heart
There's nothing more for me to say
Goodbye and I love you
