True Beauty rarely falls into the insides of people in everyway,
but this I know I see in you every single day.
Your looks shine bright striking everyone around you,
and as odd as it seems. .

Sometimes I wish upon a star that you were near and not so far,

12 Roses

12 roses together, but one's not the same
A hole in my feelings, but I'm still to blame
I wish there were something, that if I could do
Would bring us together, would bring me to you
But that's wishful thinking, my heart tells me so
Our paths give us different directions to go
And so we will travel much further apart
And fade out the joy you brought to my heart

It's with that in mind, I give you this rose

While I held you in my arms last night,
I dreamed of you , it felt so right.
You kissed my lips, and touched my skin.
I saw you smile, then saw you grin.
Behind those eyes, I saw a heart so true.

A tender touch, the slightest sigh.
I closed my eyes, my heart soared high.
You'll be the one, I tried to say.
The one who'll cry for me someday.
You smiled again. Right then I knew,
all this time it had been you.
My fears and pain, my hopes and dreams,
have come to this or so it seems.
I need to scream, to shout out loud,
I feel so honored, so happy, so proud.

but I passed it by,
